In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth. It took him 6 days, and one day of rest to create it all, according to the Bible. It also mentions that he created Hell soon after creating heaven, for a place to banish Angels who figured they would do a better job being in charge of things. The first Angel to be banished was one named Lucifer, one of the Angels God had created to represent music and beauty. Along with Lucifer, who re-named himself Satan after his fall, many other Angels fell with him, who were tortured until no good was left in them. Satan called them Demons, and re-named them all with ugly names.
After the creation of Humans, Satan got it in his head that in order to get revenge upon God, he had to try and make people do his own bidding, and then have them banished in Hell. God, loving his people, hated to watch his children burn in eternal flame, and counter-attacked by sending his Angels to Earth to battle the Demons.
Ever since time began, Angels and Demons have been living on Earth. They are born as children into unknowing families, and grow up as Humans, experiencing the all-new emotions that had never plagued them before. For many Angels, it is too much, and just after arriving on Earth they return to Heaven to recoup. Demons don't have that luxery. Even the worst things on Earth are better than the best things in Hell, so they endure the Human pains and suffering as if they are on vacation.
When will this war end? God had stopped creating Angels shortly after time on Earth began, making them become even scarcer and scarcer. With every demon that is killed, is a once-angel that is gone forever. With every Angel that is brought to the dark side, is added to Satan's ranks, and a great loss from God's. But soon God plans of a full-attack, when he gets all of the people in heaven to go to Eartj one last time and finish the war, once and for all.
